Nancy Newcomer was born and raised in the Bay Area. Music has always been a great passion for her and while attending UCSB in Santa Barbara, she was magically drawn to the perfect professional calling of radio with campus station KCSB. This fantastic journey has taken Nancy from Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo, San Francisco, San Jose, and the Coachella Valley. After a short two-year pivot on the East Coast, it was abundantly clear to her that she was a California girl through and through. With family, friends, and the promise of being back on the air playing an exceptional mix of music, it gives her great joy to return to the Desert airwaves from 6 to 9 am weekdays on KOOL 95.9!
